01. Your Silhouette Type
Ever struggle to find your place in the Kibbe or Kitchener systems? If so, you are not alone. There are 3, intersecting layers to a Poeticize Your Presence style evolution journey:
· Silhouette ID
· Custom Colour Palette
· Style Energy
Each layer of your journey can be booked separately or as a complete package.
In my system you don’t actually have just one Silhouette ID type. Instead, you’re a blend. (Most people are a blend of two or even three Silhouette types). The silhouette ID is about discovering — and dressing to honour — your unique body and face architecture. Your frame, facial features, facial shape, flesh distribution, bone structure, and more are assessed to arrive at a silhouette identity that is completely unique to you.
There are 7 Silhouette IDs in the system.
You will have a primary silhouette ID, and you may also have a secondary and occasionally even a tertiary ID.
For example, your primary ID might be SLEEK (the SLEEK silhouette ID has a taut, streamlined frame and lots of vertical). But you may also have some traits of the TIMELESS silhouette ID (the TIMELESS silhouette ID has moderate flesh, a moderate vertical line & balanced, symmetrical proportions).
I give you percentages — you might be, for example, 70% one ID and 30% a secondary ID.
02. Your Perfect Colours
Finding your perfect unique palette can be challenging.
Humans are individuals and few of us fit perfectly into a prepackaged category.
That’s why your colour consultation gives you a custom palette that is unique to you.
You’ll be given one of 16 home seasons, but your perfect colour palette is completely unique to you. Learn more about finding your Bespoke Colours on the “Colours” page.
03. Your Style Energy
While your Silhouette Identity focuses on how you are physically structured & which lines, shapes, lengths, and fabrics suit your structure most perfectly, your Style Energy Archetype represents WHO you are in the world and what you are about.
Based on Jungian archetypes, it takes into account your personality, your mannerisms, the way you walk, the way you talk….
If we were creating a home — your Silhouette Identity would be the flooring, the walls and the solid furniture, and your Style Energy would be the artwork, the soft furnishings, the scent, the ambience….
Meet the creator
Hi, I’m Fatima. I help people of all genders refine the sacred art of being seen.
My journey has taken me from an English Literature degree at Oxford to a graduate degree in Journalism, and a long career writing and consulting on the language of image and identity. I began in fashion features at Vogue and went on to interview cultural icons from Beyonce to Nina Simone to Matthew McConnaughey.
Over the years, I’ve lived and worked in both London and New York, observing first-hand how public figures construct their aesthetic and communicate who they are through visual storytelling — an influence that runs through all of my work today.
Having grown up as the only child of colour in a rural English village, I developed a deep curiosity about identity and aesthetics in my formative years, and I believe that individuality and difference are beautiful threads in one’s personal narrative.
I’ve had a lifelong fascination with style as a mirror of both inner and outer worlds. While still a student I worked as a fashion and commercial model, and became intrigued by the work of the people operating behind the scenes to construct the image — the stylists, the photographers, the fashion editors.
My love of style, harmony, beauty, and storytelling are threads that now weave together in Poeticize Your Presence.
In case you’re curious, my types within my system are:
Slhouette: a blend of Sleek, Timeless, Celestial.
Colour: a Midnight Summer/ Rhodonite Summer hybrid. (I can also borrow from Bluebell Summer.)
Style Energy type: My main three archetypes are The Queen, The Alchemist, The Mystic. (With undercurrents of The Outlaw, The Innocent & The Jester).
